Thing is, even though the FA would have looked at Shelvey's 'challenge' (he was a **** as well) with or without Match of the Day's focus, the fact that they didn't do the same for this one is an absolutely shocking lack of impartiality.

Aye he did contest it apparently BUT he only got a 3 game ban :? i thought that if you appealed/contested it it was automatically a longer ban when you fail..

Well i bet if it was one of our players it would of been extended ;D XD

In all seriousness i also thought that if you contested and were found guilty an extra game was added on. Maybe although it was reported he was contesting he didn't actually officially do so.

Aye Jamster, that seems the logical explanation and considering the state of our "press" with their copying and pasting brand of journalism.I think ya reet...
I wonder what the first day at uni's like for people deeing a journalism degree??
Probably a couple of John Pilger documentaries,then watch a quick Watergate..Then... "Right who knahs how to copy and paste?" :D

Surely it was frivolous though since he can be seen on camera looking down then stepping back?

Oh well, lets hope his absence costs Brighton some points.
