Yet again I have to ask. What the feck is the point in having a loyalty points system if they set the figure at 20 points? Will they start at 20 loyalty points for Ibrox? Think we know the answer to that. Absolutely useless system. Only applied and adhered to when it suits the club. Pathetic.

I don't know what the decision making process behind that was because it was obviously going to be a high demand game. A couple of years ago when we were back at Tynecastle after they came back from the lower leagues (:o) it was 115 points or something.

I'm not going but I was pretty shocked that as a non-season ticket holder (but stand free member) I have accumulated 20 loyalty points missing 2 home games and only attending 2 away ones!!

Not my problem, but VERY harsh on the folk that go week in week out.

I logged in bang on 5.30pm and twa seats in the upper teir, nearer to the corner flag. Looked like there were areas in the lower tier where we weren't allowed to purchase, maybe block booked for supporters clubs. so, I'm assuming we've already been allocated the whole stand, upstairs and down.

So, I'm not sure whereabouts these additional tickets will be; in either of the main stands?

1800 was initial allocation. I'm on a waiting list and they are asking Hibs for more. Expected that they would hear this afternoon. Not missed a game all season and will get one from somewhere but I really don't understand the club adopting a "use the loyalty system for games that suit them" stance. They gave the reason for not using it in Cyprus as not having sufficient time to implement. Well there is/was more than adequate time this time round.

When I heard it was 20 points I assumed we must have been getting the whole stand.

It's blindingly obvious that was too low a starting level if we were only getting half the stand.

More incompetence from whoever makes these decisions.

I logged on at 5.30 and every time I tried to get tickets they were away so had to get more. Agree with the "why have the loyalty point system if they dont use it" sentiments above. People with season tickets last 2 years - 80 points (i think). That should have been the starting point. Saturday 3 pm kick off. Dons joint top. A win there means we face the Dhims on at least equal terms. First league game at ER for a few years. Away support this year has been excellent.

The signs were there but they chose to ignore them - and this has happened a few times recently.

Could be wrong but pretty certain we don't get the whole of the stand.

1,800 seems pretty much 50% capacity of the stand. Not sure if we got the whole of the upper or lower tier, or a whole side upper and lower. The getting extra tickets is obviously dependant on how many and where tickets have been allocated to the Home support. Seems to have went pretty quiet on the subject (maybe we were too busy figuring out our temporary withdrawal of Kingsford).

Very strange on the “only 20 points” requirement. What is the point (no pun intended) on a loyalty point scheme when the bar is set so low.

I’m not going anyway, but my 16 year old loon and his mates are going (and got tickets) to their first away game without dads. Hope there is no pavement dancing in the streets of Leith like there used to be when I was that age.

Anyway, a tremendous away support again; one our team deserves, but not our board.

I’m going for 1-0 AFC Stevie May rocket.

Announced 6 days ago that the club were seeking more tickets from Hibs.

Since then, no update whatsoever, despite many people asking them.

Par for the course with AFC customer service - another "loyalty" balls up and then go into radio silence!

Hibs are selling tickets to home fans for section 26 in the South Stand:

I truly believe playing Shinnie at LB v St. Johnstone was the catalyst for arguably our best performance of the season. He gave the whole team extra balance there with McLean covering his midfield role admirably. O’Connor as the defensive midfielder also worked. I would play exactly the same team as against St. J. There is no way Considine should walk back into the team if over his injury.

After being told by the ticket office last Wednesday I had been placed on a waiting list for a ticket i contacted them yesterday morning since i hadn't heard from them. I was then told I wasn't on any waiting list. Imagine my shock, horror, disappointment and anger. A promised call back from them yesterday afternoon failed to materialise. On contacting them this morning I was told I could pick up a ticket at a portacabin before the game outside our end of the ground. They had a few emergency tickets. Luckily I have a ticket from another source. However after a discussion they admitted they got the loyalty points level wrong for this game and reassured me it wouldn't happen again. I did mention that that was what I was told after the Cyprus debacle...

If anybody from the ticket office is looking in then apologies for airing dirty washing in public but I know from speaking to others on here it is not only myself unhappy with the level of service or indeed how the loyalty points system is utilised.
