I heard a factually true story from a cop in Lanarkshire that they went to a house where the mother blitzed a sausage supper for the bairn.

To follow on from my spot on prediction from the Celtic game, I'm going 1-2 them.

Small or jumbo? Do you go with salt and vinegar if it's going in the blender for a 1 year old?

O’Connor
Christie Tansey McLean GMS
May

Subs; Rogers, Considine, Ball, Wright, Stewart, Rooney & Maynard.

In all honesty we are dreadful with the cutting edge of a spoon ... a blunt one at that. Just as well they are equally as bad as we know what happens when we play a semi decent team.

Joe having a bit of a nightmare today. Hope he finds the wind at the Merky end a bit more merciful. With Shinnie pushing high, Naismith is getting the run on Wright a bit too often.

At the other end of the pitch its mostly been a bit mehh. Neat and tidy but limited cutting edge. Lovely goal from Christie - he should have scored a second just before HT. May hasn't affected the match at all. Our crossing has been mince.

Our decision making and killer instinct around the 18 yard box was just pitiful in that second half. So many great positions squandered and letting County off the hook. Cant remember their keeper make a save? We end up with a tense final 10mins when we should be cruising.

irnbru1903

Three points but far from a decent display. We really are awful in the final third with some of our supposed best players being the biggest culprits. A shadow of last years team in my opinion.

Stats and mini skirts. Without McGinn and Hayes we aren’t as good as last season.

That is the best thing about it. We have been absolutely dire in a lot of the games so far this season and yet we are only one point behind. How good could we be if some of the players lived up to their potential especially on a consistent basis?

The biggest difference is we’re much weaker out wide.
And they had negated Rooney who basically piggy backed on to McGinn & Hayes.
I’d like us to try & get a winger in January but unlikely given we have Stewart, GMS & Wright.

I suppose we have a bigger issue to worry about next week....

Poor stuff, but a wins a win and back to within one point of victim F.C. Should have had the game out of sight, but poor decision making in the final third scuppered that. Thought Stewart for once had a decent game and when he went off we started to retreat into our own half again.

Arnason and McKenna strolled it today.

DonVincenzo (The II)
28-10-2017, 04:44 PM
Oh ffs, 1 point behind the best victims side in a generation and we still have people complaining.

Sure we are not as pretty as last season. That’s a fact.

It’s likely that we have more points this season than we would have had with that previously prettier team.

So grab a beer and get your support in order.

After 11 games we have played everyone and the only team to beat us are only a point ahead.

If your not happy with that, your just never gonna be.

Nonsense. The results would say otherwise.
I would like to see McGinn returning though.

Landvetter83
28-10-2017, 04:56 PM
Well that was a bit meh!

How many more ricks from Lewis before Danny Rogers gets a shottie?

Pretty poor decision-making in attack. Too many brain-dead attempts at final passes. If they'd used their brains we would have had 5 or 6. Instead we give a team of donkeys far too much encouragement they can get something from the game.

Unbelievably we are only one point behind a team that gave us a real schooling in mid-week.

Pacman1903
28-10-2017, 05:05 PM
Agreed. Was a bit non event but we were never in danger even when we were losing(still canna believe that went in). Though McLean was good. McKenna was good too but my MOM was Arnie. A very calm and composed performance. The big young un will learn loads from him

As Landvetter says. Better decison making and we would have romped it

Killie getting a draw at the pig sty grates me

So much for the tims being a class above

Spose with him dropping consi and rooney its as good as him admitting he well and truly fxxx up

Hopefully now he will stick with a recognised lb

Thats if hes nae gone to weegie land by then

Well that's us 8 pips better off than we were at the same point last season. Its also our best opening round of fixtures under McInnes. Considering we have been average in too many games, it is an impressive return.

We have actually more points than we did after 11 games in the 2015/16 season so it’s the best start under McInnes.
