The midfielder has greatly impressed everyone at the club with the way he has conducted himself, both on and off the park, and deservedly won himself a contract at Pittodrie.
When 12, his team went to Liverpool to play in an international tournament which they won.
Miko was named player of the tournament.
He played for the U18s for two seasons but it did not really work out in the end. As he had a few injuries and never got the chance to show what he could do.
He is good friends with Ryan Harrington (also came from the Everton Academy) and he alerted Aberdeen to his availability.
The scouts were aware of who he was.
He has a deal until the end of the season
He has really enjoyed the training with Paul who is a brilliant coach. He always joins in the training as well so all the boys enjoy working with him. His man management is excellent. And I also really like the atmosphere in the U20 dressing room and around the whole club.
He actually started out as a striker and was a forward when I went to Everton. He was quite small back then, so they pushed me back slightly and he became an attacking midfielder because they felt I had good technical ability.
Although 100% Finnish! He has a Scouse accent.
He has represented Finland at U16 level through to the U19s so far.
