A match against an extremely boring side who sit in try and hit on the counter.

I think DM will go with this starting X1 (assuming fitness of GMS & May)

In a 4-1-4-1

Lewis
Logan Arnason McKenna Considine
O'Connor
Christie McLean Shinnie GMS
May

Subs; Rogers, Reynolds, Ross, Stewart, Rooney, Maynard, Ball

Prediction? 0-0 or 1-1

Like to think we could maybe dig out a result in that cold god forsaken stadium. St Johnstone have been dire this season. Didn't see anything in Friday's performance to show that we are capable of too much though. Time for GMS and Stevie May to put on a show.

St Johnstone have hardly scored a goal in the last couple of months so we'll have to be extra dire to lose the game. We're not exactly doing great going forward either though, so 0-0 or 1-0 either way seems most likely.

Reckon it'll be one of those games where we'll be happy to just dig out a result. I expect he'll line up with...

Lewis
Logan Arnason McKenna Considine
O'Connor Shinnie
Stewart McLean Christie
Rooney

3 good creative players, but all very similar and no natural width. Either a moment of magic or a scrappy deflection or mistake to get the necessary goal

I'm out.

I like the look of Feck_the_huns team, I'd go with that.

I think we'll be pleasantly surprsised.

I would like to go with the following:

4-2-3-1

Lewis

Logan Arnason McKenna Harvie

McLean Shinnie

Stewart Christie GMS

May

We would beat St Johnstone with that team no bother.

Subs that can be used - Rooney, Wright and perhaps Reynolds. Considine, O' Connor, Ball and Maynard do not deserve game time.

I have no idea what to make of Tansey, he really has been that bad.

Agree with Ball - has been a totally pointless signing. Agree with Maynard too, hasn't really brought anything to the table. Also agree on Tansey - still unsure as to what kind of midfielder he is - is he meant to be a holding player? a playmaker? a creative player? He's shown pretty much nothing to suggest anything - could see him being away in the summer.

If it is 3 at the back, we are screwed.

Great result against an anti-fitba team with a lot of horrible cvnts in their squad. Went right off them last season and so pleased we're not having to talk about Tommy Wright as our potential next manager, for now anyway.

Nah, that bubble burst for me when he signed Ricky Foster. You would need to be an absolute f*kn imbecile to sign that c*nt

Still won more than our dear leader though & at the same club he managed.

Well, think of it this way. Deek laid the groundwork for St Johnstone to establish themselves as a top six SPFL side. And Tommy Wright has been able to build on that............................

So just imagine how amazing the results will be from Aberdeens next manager after Deek and Stewarty have set it all up for Westhills Utd.

course you`ll have to wait another 10 years till Deek and Milne retire !!

Good result. And well done to 1500 Dandies trekking to that gawd forsaken place on a freezing midweek !!!

I wasn't at the game last night so Im only going by what I have read and been told but was last nights starting 11 our best line up?

Might be shyte but my mate said Shinnie and Logan were providing the width and Stewart and May were playing as wide forwards instead of wingers.Christie and McLean were playing behind the strikers creating the openings.

Or was it just the usual 4-5-1 formation?
