Agreeing with you again Jots he wasn't playing the ball or even trying to play the ball...blatant obstruction of McClean...penalty all day.

52nd game without a penalty. Other teams get them for blatent dives. We need vidio assistants.

To be fair i didn't see it at the game but what you see it on the TV it's a clear barge and what makes me laugh is is Young barged McClean into De Gea then had a go at him when he made contact.

I thought there were several inconsistencies today from Mr Thompson. Aside from the McLean penalty shout I couldn't believe how Smalling was allowed to wrap his arms around Rondon all throughout the game and not be spoken to. This wasn't one incident, it happened every time they competed for the ball, hardly missable.

Then again, I feared for Hegazi when he clashed with Rashford, obviously the latter was responding to Hegazi's earole full but from what I saw the ref had his back to most of it, when he turned to look at their coming together all he would have seen was Hegazi's nut burrowing into Rashfords face, several times!

The problem is that so many players from the 'big clubs' fall down, when they lose the ball, and expect a free kick as their divine right. Unfortunately, it is and they do!

I think I can guess what the decision would have been if it had happened up the other end of the pitch.

Err, ahem, that'll be Mr Taylor not Thompson, sorry folks.

At least I'm being consistent with the afore mentioned inconsistencies 😁
