Maybe giving them a shot across the bows did the trick. Not much is ever achieved by being a doormat.

I still hate them

I don't get this 'hating Forest', malarky. They're just a footy club with a long and proud tradition, like us or Derby or Leicester. It's THEIR SUPPORTERS, I dislike. There seems to be a higher than normal instance of arrogant ,thick headed, asshoyles amongst them.

Because no one on this board is ‘arrogant, thick headed, asshoyles’?

Asshoyles
Got to be a new addition in the OED next year 😆😆

I said, 'They seem to have a higher than normal instance'. I didn't say we hadn't got any.

You've missed a calendar month, what about February's new manager?

Come on Swale give the poor bloke a chance, lets face it February a short month + they still one game left in the cup....

I hope everyone lets all the Forest tw@ts know how utterly, eternally grateful we are for their massive generosity.

I hope as well that Nolan finds a way to get Grant more involved in games. Be nice if he had a bit more influence.

JG staying is very good news. Especially if AH does manage to pull another useful transfer out of the hat. A player that can help prevent goals or help score goals will really help us push on.
As for the Florist comments? Puerile springs to mind. What on earth has NFFC (Not some knob head supporters) ever done to NCFC? Apart from being consistently better in the post war years.

Apparently reneged on a written agreement that the Ryan Yates season long loan deal will be honoured for starters.

Exactly. Good news, but I can't believe that a few closet reds are licking their arses over this one as an act of charity. It's pretty obvious that the reported bid from Bradford was either idle press speculation or didn't meet their valuation of the player. Whatever their reasons, they've made this decision for their benefit rather than ours.

It is purely a regime change thing not an NFFC thing, if it was they wouldn't have loaned us the pair of them in the first place? Any anger should be directed at the new manager not the entity that is NFFC.

Notts thought they were given assurances earlier in the season that Yates and Jorge Grant would be staying which came in an email understood to have been written by the previous director of football, Frank McParland.

But as soon as he and the manager Mark Warburton left, then it may as well have been written in invisible ink.

I don't agree with all this Forest hating stuff Smiffy but it seems to me like your trying to sell us some kind of Florest love in. You really need to stop sniffing that red s**t .

Being a time served artilleryman all I am trying to do is instill a little moderation and balance in our more volatile members. A bit like the old Joss gently directing the ships crew.

How long were you a distinguished member of the Andrew?
Reason I ask is after I left the Army I worked for a number of years with an ex-Joss (Mick Hewitt). Probably before your time (I served 1970-1992).

Please stop being sensible Smiffy......there are several people that just want to have a rant about that successful club across the river...let them vent their spleen.....it obviously has not crossed their minds that we might need a few thousand of their supporters in the AH~KN era to start filling our ground.....shouting insults at them usually pisses them off I find.
