...just before the transfer window shut Brighton would have been recalling him a la kieFfer moore. The man is immense strong in the tackle, all over the pitch and prompting attacks. This is the player we do need to keep fit if we want promotion. He may also bring a bit o Luck Of The Irish with him as well. Well done Richie lad.

Watch the bids roll in for him come close season. Shame we won’t be able to match the wages on offer.

Then again if Brighton get relegated then wages are adjusted accordingly. Dare I say IF we get promotion we may be in with a shout for his services?

Good call roly. Seamlessly taken over the Frecklington role.

Strange isn't that we lose Moore and the team improves, then we lose Frecks and the team improves further.

Sign of a good football manager and more importantly a good man manager?

Loyal....So he’s no longer our fitness coach then?

I think that tag suits him best.... keeps him grounded.

Just to add to this, notice how for once there’s no player being singled out by the bully boys as being the weak link?

What a good squad we have of late. Potter and Proctor to return with Taylor now fit puts us in a very strong position for the run in.

Well said Loyal
Potter and Proctor will struggle to even get on the bench when they come back.

Which is a fantastic position to be in. Probably too soon this season for Proctor anyway with his injury. However, given that Towell and Lavary are loan players, and there's always suspensions and injuries around the corner, you can never rule Potter out. Good pro.

Hope Procs makes a full recovery before the season ends - and that he can get back to playing without fear - would be like having a new signing coming into the squad

Towell has been very good the last few weeks and with having such a strong bench, as we have at present ,they all have to perform to keep that shirt.Keep it up Millers.

We will need a replacement for him next season think Warne is grooming Palmer as the new Potter so cant see him replacing Towell.

I think there was a thread running earlier in the season, and someone posted about letting Richie Towell go back to Brighton,i think it could have been gwru who said it,and my response was that Towell was a proper footballer, and that we were lucky to have him at RUFC,he would be the one player i would get down on my hands and knees for,and beg TS to sign him permanently, but being realistic,i don't think we could afford him, sadly.
