Would you buy one (if you could afford one)?

I'll wait until they have been tested a LOT more yet.

But...I reckon it would be tempting to get one once we reach a certain age, to continue to be able to get around independently.

Nothing can be 100% safe, but even now I would rather be a passenger in a driverless car than with some people I know.

Über pulled them in US after killing a pedestrian, so not for now. Wonder who gets car insurance and what the car says happened to the police?

If someone can tap into the Pentagon computers and such, I don't think I'd trust any Computer regardless of it being hacked.

I'm with Alf on this one.

The child bride says, "I'll drive", I say, "I'll take the bus!"

.

I hope Norder and mob are living well out of the way of the new system....much before all cars on the road are ruled only to be driverless - and certainly before AI becomes the dominant form of intelligence - when humans become unnecessary - how far from now is that ?

Judging by the recent performances from our politicians I would honestly welcome a bit of artificial intelligence..! >:)
