This deal has been going on for a while and it looks positive. I for one am happy that he's going to be signing.

One thing that shouts out to me is the legth of time it is taking. On a transfer day the signing of a player can be done in a couple of hours.

Those sort of comments are usually followed by " tried but missed out" comments and the player signs for somebody else.

Be good to sign him up but he can be a bit of a luxury when it's "backs to the wall" football.

I understand the only point of contention is that Joe wants a written undertaking by PW that he stops calling him "Newelly". Although PW concedes that it is one of the naffest nicknames in Millers history he has so far failed to come up with anything else.
PW has remained similarly unmoved by my threat not to renew my ST unless he stops calling us "Rothers"
