His studs are showing with his leading leg, his trailing leg is at one point completely off the ground which means he was not in control deeming it dangerous foul play, even if there was no malice in it which there wasn't. It was unnecessary but when you ask players to work hard and give everything to the cause this can and will happen.

I think you are looking at it with black and white specs, the majority seem to think it's a red and I would be surprised if they appeal it.

Well for a start, Dan Jones's job description is Left Back, and if he's left back in the changing room, in my opinion that's his best position. He is quick and tall and left sided all right, but he often mistimes his tackles or backs off too much, in short, he is no midfielder and not much of a defender either.

People were slagging Hewitt, Stead and Fitz until a week or two ago and have short memories. Jones was arguably our best overall player in both legs of the play offs not so long ago.
We need energy and dynamism in the middle and there is no one proven at the club who has it. Kellet may be wonderful but we haven't seen it and Kewell hasn't been in a rush to pick him so far. Jones won't get bullied and will put a shift in.
