Ah, Hughie, man...ya bugga. Well, I suppose it's your thread. ;)

I always tried to lay my hands on the number 10 shirt. I'm not superstitious just seemed to get goals when wearing it.

I have 10 on the back of last year's home strip, but no name above (strangely enough).

This is our team so far:

Ghostrider

RB - CB - CB - LB

Zip on the wing? - CM - CM - MidsMagpie

Stanleymag

Yours Truly

Bench: pboro

Anyone interested in one of the open spots? Personally I think Jammy would be a solid central midfielder with an eye for a pass.

Oh and the manager spot is open too.

XD clearly never seen me play XD

I'm a solid number 4 or 5. Central defence, slow as out but little gets passed me. Will pick up fair few cards though XD

The silent assassin Jammy is.

I'm glad he's playing for us.🐃

When I play I am a number 9. However I will concede this to Hughie. Being 6-4 and 15 stone and getting on a bit and the pace not what it was, I will take the midfield enforcers role - number 6.

Played in several positions in my time at school, college and in the forces, right back, right wing and no10, used to be called inside right in those days when the old fashioned formation was 2-3-5, but I used to play a bit deep and try and use bursts of speed. Sadly that was all sixty odd years ago.

obviously i should be the manager hahahahaha

other than that I would be the old inside left position -- so central mids for me

I used to be as quick as sh!t off a well greased shovel and can kick with both feet, so number 7 or 11.

My birthday is 10th of the 10th but seeing as 10 has gone, I will go for 12 and cover whoever needs a rest or a tab break.

I'm just pleased this wasn't our ' Escape to Victory' side, as the Germans would have been in some serious trouble.

Aye, and our goalkeeper would have been carried off after pulling his groin in sympathy.
