We’ve been linked with a guy called Miguel Almiron from the MLS. Looks like we are willing to pay £25m.

Anyone know much about him?

Nothing beyond he's paraguayan and has been doing very well in the number 10 role.

Quick google says Spuds, Arsenal and Hammers are also interested.

I read he’s a real number 10. Fast, can beat his man and has an eye for running into space. Too good to be true?

Probably.

If he's that decent in his role, will apparently cost £25 million and the London clubs are interested. . .

Another case of agents using our interest to get others moving to?

That's us out, then. :D

And Jammy's right..his agent will be using us to drum up interest from the 'bigger' clubs.

Unless he wants to play for free we have absolutely no chance of getting this kind player. Agree its just a fishing exercise by his agent for the ambitious clubs.

ambitious clubs.

Exactly.

Until fatso is gone, that word will never apply to us in its truest sense.

£25 M yeah right
We are known for splashing the cash on players aren’t we.

I’d rather tempt Chelsea with some readies for Ruben left-@r5e cheek

no disrespect but he plays in the MLS. If he was that good he wouldnt be there, thats where top class players of the past go for a last pay day.

The top clubs in spain have south america scouted to the hilt, very unlikely he slipped through the net

That's actually a very good point.

What I would say though, is players do slip through the net. So he could be that one.

Ha Ha. 25 Million I bet we won't be able to get this one over the line. I think Mike uses the referees spray to keep moving his line.

Not a chance we’ll even pay £15m. Ashley would get a permanent
feckn nose bleed.

You're missing a dot between the 2 and the 5.
Maybe the dot actually belongs between the £ and 2.

On reflection, it might be that the true error is that there is no "m" in that price.
