Bolton Wanderers will face Leeds United without suspended striker Sammy Ameobi following his red card against Norwich.

Ameobi scored in*the 3-2 defeat at Carrow Road*before being sent off just before Norwich's stoppage-time winner.

Leeds boss Marco Bielsa could begin a new policy of rotating players as the busy festive period approaches.

The Argentine's options should be boosted by the return to fitness of striker Patrick Bamford and midfielder Izzy Brown.

Bolton, in 23rd, start the day 24 points below second-placed Leeds in the Championship table.

Bolton have lost each of their last five matches against Leeds in all competitions, despite finding the net at least once in each game.

Leeds have lost just one of their last 14 away matches against Bolton a 4-1 Premier League defeat in May 2004.

A chance for Baker to take Saiz place now he is off..hardly done anything other than lose the ball deep in our half..hope izzy brown hits the ground running sooner rather than later!

Don't like to criticize our players but not seeing what Baker is bringing to the team today , if he is playing the Saiz role then he is not picking up the ball and running at Bolton, nearly cost us a goal, far too deep .
I rather see Halme at CB , Phillips in front, bringing the ball out , Foreshaw holding midfield and Kilch in the Saiz role attacking
, we will see how Bielsa reads this .

I keep reading that Brown is now back in the fold and fit (albeit probably not fully match fit) so why doesn't he at least get a place on the bench? Baker is poor and Alioski his usual frustrating self - although he's still trying hard, chasing back and he did produce one good cross early on.

i missed the first 8 minutes of it, but the rest of the first half was poor from an offensive point of view, 2nd half we looked better, without being our best, the shack attack our MOTM, closely followed by clarke, pleased for bamford, he has a good record against bolton this season!, a very useful win this, make no mistake, bolton defended pretty resolutely today, that was a difficult match, another clean sheet for bails and the defence, 5 consecutive wins, TOTT for now, lets hope norwich mess up!, that would keep us top, and make us 6 points clear of 3rd with a superior goal difference!

Well done Leeds, you did the job today! MOT!!! (BTW did i mention we are getting promoted this season?!)
