Aston Villa will again be without midfielder Jack Grealish (calf) but winger Albert Adomah (ankle) could come back into contention for Sunday's game.

Jonathan Kodjia scored after coming off the bench in the draw with Stoke last week and could start.

Leeds United defender Luke Ayling (knee) is back after two months out and set to come back into the starting XI for the Championship leaders.

Ayling's return could see Kalvin Phillips move back into midfield.

After losing two of their first three games under Dean Smith, Villa are now unbeaten in seven, but have drawn their last two home matches - 5-5 against Nottingham Forest and 2-2 against Stoke City.

Leeds have won five games on the spin - and have conceded only one goal - since losing 4-1 at West Bromwich Albion on 10 November.

Watched it on sky and the commentators/pundits post game were very complimentary about Leeds including Lee Hendrie. JFH and the host were comparing Leeds to a championship version of Man City and reckoned the winning was always on the cards as teams tire chasing ball and due toe relentless pressure.

I was on the verge of slating Alioski after about 60 minutes but to be fair to him he kept going and seemed really up for it today. He was even better once he got a little angry and he delivered a great cross which ultimately led to the winning goal.

If he could only get to grips with the offside rule he would almost be worth his starting place. :s

He’s just so frustrating surely we all agree with that. After half hour I was shouting at the tv. There just doesn’t seem to be any end product to his play. The late goal was from them making a mess of his poor cross. I would like him to be pushed more for his place cos Harrison and Dallas are no threat. But saying all that I love his energy, passion, fitness level, and commitment to the team strategy.
But please someone have a word about the needless offsides.

He is certainly on of the fittest players about, put most of the Villa side to shame - the disruption he causes to the opposition is probably a big part of Bielsa decision to keep him on board each week

he had some good end product in this game through, some of his crossing was excellent, and as you say, he was a pure nuisance for Villa, and god his energy levels, and general effort that he puts in, hes a likeable player imo, hope he keeps that effort up, the goals and assists will come back again, he started the season well with 3 of each, just needs to regain his confidence

Nice to see the positive messages about Alioski. Always puts a shift in, plays as much for the badge and shirt as any player I can recollect and with a little time and coaching he will be true class (at Leeds!)

we dont always see what goes on in the dressing room either, i know from playing, the value of having a few "characters", this is an important facet to good teams thats often overlooked. Watch Alioski in interviews, his cheekiness is contagious. Also think it would be interesting to see the team stats when he plays versus when he doesnt, i think a few on here would be suprised.
