god they just keep impressing, players who have come through several years of our academy, some who were signed young to play in the 18s or 23s, everytime they play for the first team they impress

he had a shaky first 9 minutes but after that, Leif Davis did excellent on his debut, Jack Clarke did what he has been doing recently and got his reward with his first ever senior goal, Jamie Shackleton got some more minutes and again for his cameo today just did what he had to do and did it well

BPF and Phillips again having good games, not much they could do about the goals conceded

Halme has done well when called upon, Pearce before his injury looked good, Shaughnessy has shown in spells he could end up decent, Roberts and Edmondson look good upfront and both should have good futures, Huffer had a good debut for us a few games ago, and theres more good talent coming through.

Bryce Hosannah the rightback is back from injury as is Clark Odour who can play in defence midfield and upfront, very versatile player, theres rave reviews about Kun the young bulgaria striker, Lewie Coyle is coming back from his loan spell soon, he could have an impact with the gained experience he has had at fleetwood, Sam Dalby is another striker who could have a good future, the future looks so bright for leeds right now, its great!

Nice round up Clive; Davis did look out of his depth at the start, hard to imagine how you would feel in that situation. It as good to see Phillips giving him some advice early on and he soon settled and got forward well to put some reasonable crosses in.

good that young lads can make their debut in games such as villa away. Nowt to fear about Blackburn at home for example.Love the fact that "El Loco" doesnt give a **** about new signings, he has everyone at the club from the under 10s to the tea ladies bought into Bielsaball, and he has complete trust in the kids coming through.fantastic

Its the difference between us and most of the other teams in the championship this year. we have a great feeder system, great coach and a squad that believes and trust each other.

The pattern has been set over the years using this model over the years. Southhampton and Burnley are great examples.

Some great images to take away from yesterday - Phillips guiding Davis in first 10 mins or so, Clarke and Shackleton celebrating together when Roofe scored the winner and Clarke's sensational goal, first of many to come. We've got some talent coming through and they all have the confidence Bielsa has instilled in them, but I guess those early beginnings are down to Redfearn.

redfearn was 1 of the first to say watch out for kalvin phillips, he was right

joel many players from last season were mince, now look at them, not so mincey anymore, with the right coaching and avoiding injuries, shaughnessy could improve too, still young enough! (although I agree hes currently behind many of the others who have come through so far, although trust in Marcelo, he sent oconnor out on loan instead of shaughnessy

our system this season though just proves that with the right coaches in place, you can use the youth to help the first team, we sahould all remember, if these guys werent somewhere close to first team standard, Marcelo wouldnt have them on the bench or starting matches

redfearn inherited the strong foundations built by Wilkinson (a true but unrecognised visionary) and Paul Hart.

Would love to know how much MB works on the confidence and mental side of the game.
