Doubt it would be O'Brien then? Isn't he technically out of contract so why would we delay announcing? Unless Bradford are releasing him and want to do an announcement first?

Sounds like a loan deal... Forest are getting in a midfielder before releasing Yates for the rest of the season. If Heineken did loan deals...

Jim O'Brien has been released early from his contract at Bradford (was due to run out after the weekend anyway). Looks like it's him, Bradford fans are upset he's going and they seem to rate him highly

Pleasantly surprised at how upset they are. Haven’t heard of him tbh, but looks like he was a good player in a higher division so hope he is coming to Notts.

Yeah, I've not seen or heard of him before. They were happy when Karl Henry was released but seem upset here so hopefully we dodged a bullet with Henry and have got ourselves the Midfielder we have needed

From the descriptions given by Bradford fans on Twitter. He added bite and never stopped running. Going for the ball winning type, certainly the type we need, anything that adds fight will do us well

Combative midfield ball-winner, apparently. Well liked by the Bratfud Massive fans, it seems and they are sorry to see him go but has had a few injuries recently.

Sounds like just the sort of player we need. Hopefully will free Vaughn up a bit more to play his more natural and effective game.

don't you think he will play in the right sided midfield position that either kellett or milsom have been in?

So Vaughan might still be the one sitting in front of the defense, unless we bring in someone else

Possibly, but his endeavour and work rate should afford Vaughn more time on the ball have more control over his game. Hopefully this will give him more opportunity to be the play maker that he has been known to be.

Yes. And let's hope there are more like him on the way, given the slight injury doubt. We're effectively need to build a new midfield, with cover.
