Four wins and two draws in the last six games make the Swans one of the form teams in the Championship.
Birmingham gave us a tough time up there and we were lucky to get a draw at the beginning of the season.
Our former player, captain, and manager, Gary Monk, returns to the Liberty for the first time since his departure and he will be firing up his players for this one. They lost last time out at Norwich 3-1 on 18th Jan, but will be well rested and fresh after their 11 day break, having no cup game last weekend.
For us, we are at a disadvantage with only a 3 day break between matches. Having fielded our strongest side in the cup, it’s inevitable that we’ll rotate players, especially as there’s a another tough game next Sat away against in form Bristol City.
We are down to the bare bones in defence and attack. Against the Gills we had to bring in Harries from the Academy as back up to the centre-half position, with Rodon out for six weeks.
Bony is not being selected due to possible departure before Thursdays transfer deadline, so there is only McBurnie and Academy player Baker-Richardson as out and out strikers.
Cross fingers there are no more injuries. We will probably hear the latest team news and player injury status in the pre-match Press Conference this afternoon

Bony was missing and on a flight to Qatar for a loan deal with Al-Arabi.
James and Fer both played despite transfer speculation with Leeds and Fenerbahce respectively.
And it was James who fired in the first goal on 22 min with a fine run and low shot that beat the goalkeeper. Maghoma equalised on 35 min with a soft goal, poor marking gave him a free shot.
Pederson was sent of for two bookable offences on 45 min as Blues continued the heavy stuff.
Second half and McBurnie restored the Swans lead on 65 min with Blues down to ten men. But they never gave in and equalised through Morrison on 67 min, Mulder fumbling the ball, and took the lead with a super strike by Adams on 71 min to stun the home crowd.
It took a few top saves to keep the Swans out, but in the 94th min McBurnie met a headed cross from Hoorn to score his brace, the points were shared and the unbeaten run continues.
