'Davo' kept three clean sheets in the five February fixtures and pulled off a ***** save from the spot-kick away at Portsmouth.
The big man now has 16 clean sheets for the season after Saturday's latest shut-out as he aims to lead his side back to the Championship at the first attempt, and hus earn a second promotion in his five years at Oakwell.
It's quite clear that Davies is etching his name into club folklore after his exploits with the club, and he was absolutely delighted to receive yet another accolade.
He told us: "I'm still buzzing after the win on Saturday. To go to a tough place like Southend and go down to 10 men, we had to show a different side to our game and I can't be more pleased with our performance on the day.
"It's a continuation really, from last month. We pride ourselves on being difficult to penetrate. If you can't score or win, don't get beat.
"I'm proud to get the fans' votes for the award, but the players ahead of me make my job so much easier."
The captain will receive his award at Oakwell on Saturday when the Reds entertain Accrington Stanley in Sky Bet League One.
