If the supposed new owners want Hardy to stay on I’ll eat my hat if they had £9m rather than the stated £900m

It’s going to be that Octavian guy who’s got less money than Hardy had until his world imploded.

I really fear for our future and at this point in time that Basford United are more likely to play in the EFL than we are.

It does beg questions about this "takeover". I think Hardy revealed more in that interview than he's done in months of speculation.

Yes sounds more like Tremblings material funding than takeover and look what happened then!

Maybe it's all part of Big Al's master (bate) plan !!! I can't afford to fund a league club, so I'll take em down to non-League???

Sounds like the voices in Alan Hardy's own head. I can see him now in some darkened room, negotiating the sale with himself, like some modern day Gollum.

Even for such a magnificent arse as yours, Johnny, that's an exorbitant sum.

Very worrying IMO. As others have said, distinctly Munto-esque in the oddly comprehensive cloak of secrecy surrounding the whole thing, as well as claims of access to huge sums of money being made to justify the takeover.

The thing to watch will be our HMRC bill. If that hasn't been sorted out by the June deadline, there should be major alarm bells ringing.

He has been speaking to Armstrong Homes.
