We welcome Northampton to the Liberty tonight in the first round of the Carabao Cup with manager Keith Curle at the helm.
Former Swans Academy goalkeeper David Cornell moved there in 2016, and has played in their first two league games this season, having failed to make the grade in our first team.
Other Swans players to have played previously for Northampton include Bayo Akinfenwa, Matt Grimes (loan), and Raheem Hanley.
Expect to see several changes as squad players are given game time.

We struggled for 60 mins as Cooper made eleven changes to the starting line up from the Derby game.
Northampton looked solid in defence and once they’d scored in the 61 min from a huge kick out from ex Swan goalkeeper Cornell, we woke up and bombarded their goal. Ayew came on and together with the impressive debut of Garrick, they changed the game.
A brace from Ayew, both headers on 80’ and 88’, with a Byers shot from outside the box on 83’ sandwiched in between, and it was game over.
