Unfortunately passed away from cancer. He was employed by the club I believe around 2010-2012 and also posted on here a lot under usernames wellypie and stutnb.

Sad news, RIP.

Stu has been fighting this for a while, terrible news, a huge man and even bigger character, will be sadly missed, sleep easy big man.

That's sad. Had a few chats with him on Facebook messenger a few years ago and he was a very passionate fan. RIP Stu

Awful news. Always seemed like a nice guy and I enjoyed his posts on here, as well as his fanzine. Thoughts with his family.

Terrible news. Remember emailing him a few times, and he even let me put some ramblings in the fanzine. Seemed a cracking bloke.
Thoughts to all his family and friends.

I didn’t know Stuart, but read a lot of his stuff, and he was obviously Notts through and through. RIP.

Didn't know him personally but the fanzine he used to edit was always a very enjoyable read and well worth a quid or two. Very sorry to hear this news, thoughts with his family and friends.

Really sad news.
We lived a couple of miles from each other near Wellingborough so used to car share to games.
He was a larger than life character in every sense.

He actually came from the Peterboro' area but his grandad was a Notts fan and that is how he got to support them and moved to Arnold.
