I see from this The Flat Earth Society are having a meeting next month in Uckfield which is just down the road from me. Can't attend as either I am hols unless I have fallen off trying to get there.

I remember some time ago some american wanted to prove the earth was flat. I think he crowdfunded a project whereby he’d build something that would raise up in the air, i’m sure he failed right from the start.

The most famous photo of The Earth taken from Apollo 17 actually had Antartica on top. NASA thought us mere mortals would struggle to cope with this (probably correct) and so turned it the 'correct way up.'
