After a great August and a poor September, it's now October and we hope a change in fortune (and referees!) to enable us to grab a few wins.
A tough match looms on Wed night at Charlton though, they beat Leeds last Sat to inflict a first away defeat of the season, whilst we allowed Reading in for a late equaliser and two points dropped.
Bidwell still out so his left back position will either be filled by Naughton, a right footed right back, or Declan John a natural left footed left back, not so good defending but a speedy player going forward.
I don't know why he's not using centre back/midfielder Wilmot. I've only seen him in the cup games and he looks a very good player, one who could stiffen up our midfield, who were outplayed second half v Forest.

We’re down to 6th in the table after last nights results and our recent poor run of form. Leeds beat West Brom 1-0 and replaced them at the top of the table.
A good performance is needed tonight, no pressure then!

What a difference a day makes! A win and 3 points equals back on top of the pile. Charlton lost 1-2 last night at home for only the second time this year. Well done the Swans, no mean feat, as The Valley is a tough place to go, especially as Charlton were so buoyed up after beating Leeds there only a few days ago.

After the doom and gloom of the home draw with Reading (that 90th min equalising goal felt like a loss), the Swans bounced back with a well earned win at high flying Charlton. In front of the American owners Kaplan and Levein as well, they hadn’t seen us live since last season, they certainly picked the right match to cross the pond and watch our highest paid player score the winner.

Inept performance and an embarrassment.
Hang your heads in shame, manager and players. Wrong tactics wrong subs, outplayed and outfought by the bottom club, manager frozen on the touch line showing no emotion, wouldn’t/ couldn’t/ didn’t know how to change things. Dhanda worst player on the pitch, dispossessed every time he had the ball, yet he left him on and took Fulton off, unbelievable.
No way this team is going anywhere, completely torn apart by the worst club in the division, they couldn’t string two passes together throughout.
