All in all, a point today was a fair reflection, but slowly, each game that passes, our lack of goals, could / will cost us dear, unless MB starts to change personnel around &, or club is willing or able to use Jan transfer window.
Something has to change, by design or luck, think Roberts needs a run as main CF, Costa alongside him, with maybe Eddie out wide on the right.
Dallas not great in the centre, his energy / crossing better used out wide, is Allioski more of a threat as attacking player, than Harrison, both work hard, but both seem to lack the end product.
As for Bamford, jury still out.
Huge problem for MB to resolve, there must be a formula that works, even if it goes against Bielsas normal ethics, he must try alternatives.

To some extent MB seems to go with players he trusts rather than those best suited to a position and he likes utility players. I wonder if that means we don’t get the best out of some players and it clearly restricts opportunities for others to break through.

Take the number 10 role - Klich seems to be playing there by default as he wanted Foreshaw, Phillips and him in the team. Now Forshaw is out rather than move Klich further back into midfield and allow a more creative 10 he moves Dallas to midfield when he had been on fire at right back and creating lots down the right. Dallas will never let the team down but he was playing in a position where he was making a real difference to doing a job.

Not sure how many minutes some of the younger players have in the league but it can’t be many. Injuries should allow those players a chance but seems none of that at the moment. I have seen a few of the u23 games and a few of them look more than ready and in positions where we have had injuries.

great as he is, if everyone at the club including the owner are in awe of MB who is there challenging him to get the best out of him.
