Let's be plain. The people who are experts in these matters reckon that the club's debt to EWM is above £2.5 million.

So EWM are totally in control of the club. Whatever they want to happen will happen. The consequences of anyone at Holdings or 1921 refusing to do as EWM command could be cataclysmic.

A consortium wanting to own the club has to get the EWM blessing and it does not matter what anyone else thinks.

The charge on all the club's assets plus the personal guarantees of the Holdings shareholders make it quite clear
that any dissent could leave the club without a pitch to pass on.

I don't think they want any help as such because its neither here or there and just a way of getting a small foot in the club,now another money man who wants the lot and you might get some action,all or nothing in other words.
