It was the Brentford nightmare all over again yesterday
After two wins and a draw we are back to normal at home. A weak midfield was our downfall, we badly need a strong tackling midfielder to control the game, for example (a fit and when he was up for it) Fer, big presence and can control a game, and a creator. There's got to be someone out there who could do a job for us in the January transfer window, a loan would do

And so it came to pass, same old against Fulham. We cannot survive with weak non-tackling players in midfield. What did Cooper do, bring on weak non-tackling midfielders McKay and Carroll when we were chasing the game and take off the only one likely to make any tackles Fulton.
Why didn't Celina come on, at least he's capable of splitting defences.

Amazingly it was MacKay who laid on the goal for Byers and has the best assist record at the club.
Still he’s been a poor buy for us. You can see there’s a good player in there, but the will to fight for his place is not there I’m afraid.
