I took a trip back in time yesterday to a very old football ground in the heart of Islamabad. Actually it was UK and it was Luton and perhaps my vivid imagination played tricks on me. Yet the rows of Asian shops selling vegetables, halal meat, barbers, and fast food, to the strange little football ground that you entered through someone’s house was very real. A blink of the eyes though and I was back to reality, the heavens opened to the sight of endless aircraft taking off from the nearby airport, the teams came out, and finally the match was under way as the Swans proceeded to give a football lesson.
A much improved performance, a lack of finishing off chances the only thing missing from a slick display. A bit of drama at the end with a stonewall penalty to the Swans, right in front of us behind the goal, that the inept ref turned down and deemed it simulation by the yellow carded Byers, to the disbelief of all the watching Jacks.
A few minutes later and we got our just reward with Ayew chesting home the winner for the only goal of the match. A well deserved three points and the upturn in form continues.

Good win yesterday, they're a strong side at home.
The big test will be at Brentford on Thursday. An in form side who beat us at home recently.

With 20 shots on goal we should have scored more than one goal, but fair play Luton they were strong defensively.

Brentford will be a lot tougher than this match. Yesterday we were more like the team we know, shame we couldn’t score more than one goal, but it wasn’t for want of trying.
Deserved result in the end after the ref robbed us of a penalty.

Quest pundit who was with host Colin Murray last night, former Spurs and Man City midfielder Michael Brown, had this to say about the penalty as he played it back:
“It’s no doubt it’s a penalty. It’s a good touch (by Byers) and he’s caught by Pearson. These are the decisions the referee has got to get right. It is very, very difficult and there are a lot of dives but still, ultimately, you’ve got to get it correct.”
