The much anticipated local derby is upon us. It has been switched from Saturday 3pm to Sunday midday.
Both teams were hammered by QPR recently and both sets of fans will expect a response.
The bubble bus journey to get to Cardiff is ridiculous , buses are leaving the stadium at 7:30, four and a half hours before the match, so expect a long frustrating wait at Cardiff Services before being escorted to the stadium!
I can’t remember Cardiff fans having to do this in the reverse fixture recently?

Shame we couldn’t break them down in the end. Cooper seemed afraid to go for it when we needed fresh legs and fresh ideas, no subs were made and a draw was a fair result. They hit the bar we hit the post.
Statistics show we only had one shot on target. We were woeful with our corners and free kicks, over or under hitting them. Woodburn seemed intent on kicking the ball out straight to their centre backs, losing possession and putting us under pressure. Earlier in the season he was dominating his area, now he seems to be mostly rooted to his line, is this Margetson’s coaching? Our passing was mostly poor too and our passing game has disappeared this season.
We slip out of the play off places on goal difference.

Strange how we didn’t make any substitutions yesterday when Cardiff did and their sub Harrison hit the bar. We needed to change things as Cardiff were in the ascendancy at the time. However I would have taken a draw beforehand and we did have a chance of winning it when Celina hit the inside of the post.
Oli McBurnie was there and I see this morning the Press are trying to stir things up by saying he may face FA disciplinary charges for making rude gestures at Cardiff fans, how pathetic. Jordan Ayew was also there to watch his brother Andre playing but avoided any controversy.

I thought we edged the first half, but when they brought on their two subs second half they had the upper hand. Agree he should have introduced subs as some players were flagging. Jack Army out in force yesterday and loud and proud, hardly heard their fans.
Good on Oli supporting us yesterday, Press trying to stir things up by dissecting his every movement or gesture, get a life guys it's only banter.

I hope they’re practising corners and free kicks this week in training. Makes you think when it’s been going on all season. Isn’t there any player in the team capable of accurately crossing the ball? And with two giant centre backs controlling any aerial threat yesterday, high balls were pointless.
Also needing practice is passing, several games this season we’ve seen players passing straight into touch, including yesterday.
Ayew was surprisingly pretty anonymous yesterday, so our main goal scorer was kept quiet, maybe Baston should have come on last twenty minutes to shake things up.

Oli McBurnie our ex-player came down to support us, with several other players in attendance too, including Joe Rodon and Jordan Ayew.
Unfortunately the Sky cameras were watching his every move and he was reported to the FA for making an obscene gesture to the Cardiff fans.
As a consequence the FA have warned Oli and reminded him of his responsibilities as a professional footballer.
What he did is seen at every football match and what I would call banter between fans.
Why don’t the media leave these guys alone. They are watching their every move, looking for them to slip up to make news headlines.
