Hoorn out for another 3 weeks. Rodon and Garrick back in training next week. Two centre-backs out then, Guehi has come in on loan, Wilmot and Cabango played last week and kept a clean sheet, will he want to change the defence, unlikely.
Room has to be made for Gallagher, a quality signing and he will boost our midfield where I feel we are weak. Brewster some nice touches last week so will keep his place. Only five loanees allowed in the match day squad, I think Kalulu will miss out. He has shown nothing since coming back from injury and I would terminate his loan, he's been injured all season so far anyway so won't be missed.

Wigan have only one win in the last 15 league games and that was 2-3 at Birmingham. Lowest scorers in the division with 24 goals but strong defensively. They have a 6’ 5” giant forward, Welsh International Keiffer Moore to give us trouble in the air, so Wilmot and Cabango will have their work cut out. The other end centre-back Chey Dunkley is their top scorer with 5 goals, and they have a pacey left back in ex-Everton player Antonee Robinson.
Looking forward to seeing box to box midfielder Conor Gallagher in a Swans shirt tomorrow.

Always a tough one playing teams down the bottom of the table. In fact Wigan’s last away match was a 2-3 win at Birmingham, so today’s match not to be taken lightly, especially when we couldn’t beat lowly Barnsley here recently.
It’s a tough division where anybody can beat anybody on the day, and perhaps that’s what makes it more exciting.
We have been boosted by three exciting loan signings and I expect two of them to play today, with Guehi on the bench.
Wigan’s right back Sterling has a hamstring injury, whilst Mulgrew has returned to Blackburn from his loan.

Brewster scores from a Gallagher assist, couldn’t have wrote the script better.
Wigan took the lead after 16 mins through poor defending, full back Byrne firing home unmarked.
Brewster equalised after 19 mins, Gallagher slotting the ball through Wigan defenders for Brewster to run on to and fire home a left footed shot for his first goal in senior football.
It took until the 67 min before Wigan’s defence was breached again, left winger Celina beating full back Byrne to cross a low ball to Ayew on the near post, who then back-heeled the ball into the net, for the Swans to take the lead.
Wigan were a tough nut to crack and belied their lowly league position with some good attacking play. Giant forward Keiffer Moore was introduced late on and caused us some problems with his aerial supremacy but the Swans defence held firm for the win which lifted them into 5th place and a play off position.
Shock result of the day was Gary Monk’s Sheff Wed losing at home to Blackburn 0-5 after going down to 10 men when Luongo was sent off. Blackburn hadn’t won in the previous six games.
Leeds, in 2nd place, lost 1-0 at QPR, Swans now only 7 points behind them.

As Iolo predicted then, only one change, Gallagher in for Routledge, Guehi sub, Kalulu day off.
Enjoyed the match, Wigan gave us a good game and didn't sit back and defend. I don't think they'll get relegated playing as well as that.
Brewster and Gallagher looked quality and our passing game was back. It seemed the other players raised their game for the newbies and I'm very optimistic for the rest of the season.
No home game for another three weeks in this crazy match scheduling this season.

Another hard game, playing these teams down the bottom is not easy. We know that first hand after Stoke and Barnsley games.
I thought we looked good yesterday except for that early defensive error that led to their goal. We must remember that we have a young inexperienced centre-back pairing in Wilmot and Cabango at the moment, and our team is full of youngsters.
Celina hds his best game for a while and had the beating of full back Byrne every time. This led to our second goal as Celina crossed for Ayew to back flick the ball into the net for his 12th goal of the season.
Our squad is looking much stronger with these new additions and augers well for the rest of the season.
