So much media / newspaper gossip around, but really, 20 mill ish for Adams, plus 10-12 for Costa, and around 15 for White, that's some serious investment in only 3 players.
If promotion is achieved, even with the vast prize pot, with the level of investment / player recruitment required to make the squad competitive, some serious scouting & clever dealing will need to be made.

Don't think White is even an option... and will likely be more than 15million anyway.
But I take your point

20M for some dude in Southampton reserves, or we could have spent 17M on Erling Braut Haland !

I would be pleased with securing White but I can't see how Costa is worth anything like that price.

Costa has to be the biggest disappointment of the season. Bamford we all knew the problem, Harrison has improved a lot, Casilla we knew the problem. Costa really seemed like a great buy at the time, so we can't blame anyone for the decision to get him in, given his back story, but he just hasn't done the business for more than 5 minutes at a time, and a couple of times a game.

We've given a lot of credit to the coaching staff, rightly so, for their turning some water into wine. What's happened with Costa - or could it be down to his character - something MB values massively in terms of the fighters - maybe explains why he got little game time when others were not injured, and now gets more when there aren't alternatives.

Honestly, i'd put Jack Clarke well above him in a direct comparison of the effect he has had in games versus time on the pitch.

Agree mate - thought when we signed him he would be a massive improvement to the team - In actual fact he has been barely noticeable in most games. As with everything Leeds we are reduced to "Hoping" that he comes good in the last third of the season.

Think Costa pre Leeds had freedom and taken time for him to adapt to Bielsaball. Shown some marked improvement in recent weeks. Has pace and can go past players - seems to be targeted on and off the ball by teams we play and constantly fouled with the refs protecting him.
