highlights of him look good the way he strikes the ball and runs is a little bit like JFH to my uneducated eye. Looks to have strength, pace and a decent first touch

If he's got all that he'll soon put Pat in the shadows.

I wonder how he's feeling today?

Once again I ask, can we not play 2 strikers. Not unheard off?

I applaud your optimism when assessing players potential, just not the quality of the assessment.

You seem to have spend the last few hours trawling back through posts to disagree with.

From his highlights and past record I stand by all I said. He never got fit enough to play for us and looks like his body couldn’t cope with the intense training regime here.

Hope the lad does well wherever he ends up as he clearly has talent and potential.

Err, no, took me about 20 minutes to find the thread AND all the super optimistic posts AND post a few "queries" to those who posted them.

I wouldn't have spent hours, it wouldn't have been worth it (and the non-answers from all, you included, prove that).

I get slated for passing judgement on players before they play for Leeds, but at least when I'm wrong in doing so I admit it. You stand by all you said, which is an honest enough statement to make, but it hides that fact that you were wrong in your assessment (as were many others).
