since last season and maybe the first norwich game

we didnt get numbers back and with joelinton up fron and wantng to come deep to get the ball and even wide leaving no one in the box apart from set pieces we didint look like scoring

no good having wide and tricky wingers if your forward isnt in the box

i would say with what we have at the moment a fit carrol or gayle would give us more options than joelinton who has become our version of rafas joselwho

he needs arest we need to try something different

but we looked strung out yesterday

A fit Carroll! Those words don't go together.
We bought him as a PR exercise and there was never any chance of him being or staying fit. He might have been a handful in his early career but he adds nothing to our team when he plays. He is only interested in playing the man before the ball gets to him and is often pulled up for it.
Bruce claims he can't rotate his strikers because of injuries, however Gayle and Carroll will always be injured in one form or another and our current ones can't hit a barn door so we won't be an effective strike force no matter who of the 5 he plays.
