West Brom, top of the table, and strolling to promotion after investing heavily.
They hammered us 5-1 up there and their away form is strong.
Ironically the last team to beat them on their travels were Cardiff 2-1.
Last night they lost in the cup at home to Newcastle, last Sat they lost at home to lowly Wigan, so there is some hope we can do something this Saturday.
We hope that they are exhausted from the midweek match and demoralised after two straight defeats.
I would be wanting revenge for our mauling up there and I suspect the players will be well up for this game.

There’s some tough games to come such us West Brom, Leeds, Forest, Millwall, Bristol, half the fixtures remaining!
A tough ask but not impossible. A good run of results will see any of the top ten clubs rewarded with promotion or play off chances, now is the time to hit form.

Well the division’s leading scorers, who put five past us in the reverse fixture, couldn’t score against us today as our impressive defence held strong for once, no late goals this time. In fact we should have won it with Fulton squandering two good chances.
Even though we drop to 11th in the table, with Preston losing we are only three points off the last play-off place, and still all to play for.
Nine games left and seven clubs to battle it out for that final play-off spot, can we do it? Certainly we are playing better and with a settled team. We have dropped several points recently with late goals and several points when Guehi was tried in the centre back spot.
Now Cabango is there we look more solid defensively. Those dropped points would have put us comfortably in a play-off position

Mixed feelings about yesterday.
Normally a point would be acceptable against the top side but we could and should have won that yesterday except for glaring misses.
I thought we were weak up front and pumping high balls that their giant centre backs continuously gobbled up was stupid. Consequently Brewster had a quiet game as he has no aerial threat. They outpassed us and had the majority of possession but couldn't score a goal.
That's gone and we now have to fight hard for the points needed in the coming matches.

Kalulu was pretty quiet too. Ayew was 100% committed again, but MOM for me was Rodon who soldiered on despite a head wound, and kudos to all the back four for containing the Baggies.
