Not old enough to sign professional forms, this lad apparently is Germany bound unless Chelsea stump the deal with
£50 Million pounds! Mind blowing, and they wonder why football is in the current financial mess it is in.

Isn’t there rules on players under 18 to stop them signing for other clubs?

As you say Brinster, is there any wonder the game is in the current mess it is in. Sheer madness!

That’s hell of a lot of pressure to put on a 16yr old just hope he can handle it first but even with out seeing him my answer would have to be NO.

Supply and demand. He is worth whatever someone is willing to pay.

No mention of some large brown paper sacks that his parents were carrying (allegedly).

Shouldn't he be in school on a Monday afternoon.
His form tutor will be livid, particularly if he,s a Villa sympathiser, and likely to administer the cane on the knuckles or slipper across the back of his legs

About to sign a multi million pound sports contract is a poor excuse for skipping lessons

If it was our 16 year old Championship player, we'd be looking for £300k 🙄😩 if any club can get £30m for a 16 year old then fair play to them.

He's not skipping school. He's a 1st year scholar. He'll be studying a 2 year BTEC in house. It will be identical to the BTEC course scholars at Man Utd will be taking.

You would though, wouldn't you. take the cane, never mind the slipper for that contract ;)

Yes it was in jest.
The son of a friend of mine was with Middlesbrough for about eight years and Boro used to provide the education for them.
Training in the morning and schooling in the afternoon type arrangement.
I would imagine Brum are a big enough club to do something similar

This lad seems to have the makings of the complete midfielder in that he is good at tackling passing dribbling tactical nous, timing and shooting as well - potentially a very bright future. What will be key to his success is having a mature approach with people around him who can help keep things in perspective - as for his value well the value of anyone or anything it’s down to what somebody is willing to pay

Any truth in the rumor him and his family were seen heading out of NYS today laden down with RUFC merchandise? I understand he particularly liked the pencil case.
