Hartlepool have been hit n miss in recent weeks so this score line is a little bit of a surprise.

That's the best result (when it is a result) that we could have hoped for. Another couple of goals for Hartlepool would be welcome on goal difference terms.

Am I right in thinking that if Eastleigh lose we'll go up to 3rd in the PPG table? They're currently 2-1 down at Halifax.

We sure will. I'll put the revised table up after the final whistle.

Well done mate, it's bad enough me trying to keep on top of things when Notts play never mind when they don't!!

He came on as a 56th minute sub but I've no idea re. performance

Impressive result

On the face of it yes. But against 10 men for over 70 minutes and 9 men for over half an hour I would say it’s expected.

Ahhh I see naughty naughty Stockport.

Although the home side were already leading before the 1st sending off and 3 up before the 2nd.

Last nights’ results certainly suited Notts as it uses up one of the games in hand that both Eastleigh and Stockport had over us. Only negative is that their convincing win might reinvigorate Hartlepool who were definitely faltering of late. Only 9 points between Notts in 3rd and Kings Lynn in 19th illustrating how tight it is below Notts. However we need only have eyes to those two teams above us and chase them down.

Nice away win in the Trophy for Kings Lynn at Alfreton last night giving them a boost just before playing us . . .

Maybe, but still, "Lads, it's Kings Lynn"

Exactly. A win at Alfreton and they've become Leeds United.

Surely it's to our advantage that they played last night if you believe the '2 games in a week tiredness' theory. I doubt they will have a big enough squad to rest a lot of players, while many of ours have played no more than half a game since we beat Stockport.

Absolutely we should go there and secure all 3 points.

The Hartlepool impressive result is of more concern ahead of our upcoming match, a real confidence booster

I would take a 6-2 win on Boxing Day.

The winking emoji you used is the best we've got for that scenario. I whole heartedly recommend its use.

After Leeds United’s last result, perhaps we should hope they have?
