What you can achieve as a team when you keep 11 men on the pitch. Draws against Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool etc and a win against Sheff Utd. It ain't rocket science.

You are spot on. Not only three sendings off but all in the first half. I just hope that Allardyse will get this point over to them.

And all of them not sendings off! VAR stinks. First time yesterday we got the rub of the green. I was sure O’shea Was going to go for that great tackle on Henderson.
I’m afraid allardyce has no control over VAR.

I think you could see yesterday that Allardyce had drummed it into them ...” don’t get sent off FFS”. ... there were no petulant outbursts.... no reckless tackles ..... good to see tbh

They were checking O'shea's tackle. Did you see the look on his face. Most send offs this season are far from reckless. Cant imagine how you can be a defender these days.

I clocked this aswell.

I’ve never seen us ‘stand up’ so much. I’m old fashioned, I love ball winning challenges but the more I see of the modern game the more it’s becoming a gamble to tackle. With the likes of Jack Greilish (at it again yesterday v Chelsea) who look to go down to try create an advantage at every opportunity never has it been more important to stay on your feet.

As an aside, did anyone see the Leeds v Burnley game recently? a game Burnley would have won 10 years ago if Referee/VAR decision making hadn’t of ruined the game so much, instead they lost it, same with us away to a Man Utd recently.

Bitter sweet, glad we’re becoming more streetwise but another nail in the coffin of the ‘old school’ game I grew up with.

Spot on MJ. Cheating is an unwritten law of today’s game and how referees and the idiots looking at VAR, remain so blind to the cheating, is quite astonishing.
