It`s quite possible to support your football team and never see a game with 10 or more goals in it,I never thought I would see one.
Then I saw 2,the 6-4 win against Cheltenham,a game in which we actually losing 3-1,and Alfie scored 4.
4 years later there was the 4-6 reverse at Wolves,a game where one of our players scores a hatrick and still loses !

Other than penalty shoot outs (Wembley, Highbury etc) I've not be lucky enough to see one

Got stuck in the traffic chaos heading for the Wolves game. Turned back home at 3pm, still miles away

Dont tempt fate. If we have to play watford with the kids in there might be 10 goals in that one!

That's a sad story BM. Almost as bad as mine where I left a dull 0-0 night game at Millmoor at half time because I was freezing cold and missed 5 goals and 2 or 3 sending offs XD It was the 4-1 win against Malcolm Allison and Crystal Palace.

Nearest I saw was our 8-1 win at Crewe on September 8th 1973.
Crewe scored first and it was only 2-1 at half time. Ironically the return game at Millmoor finished 1-1.

I also saw us lose 7-2 at home to Bournemouth in 1972 /73

I remember us beating Cardiff 6-4 at Millmoor and beating Preston 6-3 in the same season within 6 weeks of each other (1965/66 Sept & Oct 1965) I followed the scores but didn’t physically start going until Jan 1966.

Went to the Wolves game. Next best for me was 5-4 against Hull (I think).

February 3rd 1976. Lesson learned, don't try and be a 'hard' 15 year old and listen to your Mum and wear a warm coat XD

I was 18 but I did have a parka if that counts, oh and sta press trousers and a big leather belt with a buckle. Unfortunately mummy made me take the belt back. Lol.

Remember it well, a great game, sat on the back wall of the Tivoli, nice and warm up there.
