What’s the best away game you have ever been to and why, what memories do you have?

Did you ever go to an away game in the murder van?

Secondly, what’s the best thing about Whitby and why?

Carlisle away April 1981

Every Pub was full of Millers (or so it seemed)

Won 1-0 thanks to Rodney Fern
After the game found out Huddersfield has lost or drawn (can't remember which tbh) cue celebrations, we were promoted

I was about 14/15 when I went to Crewe in 88/89 I think it was. We were both in the mix for promotion but on the day they couldn't handle Bobby Williamson who helped himself to a hat-trick in a 3-1 win. Awesome feeling travelling home

Cant remember dates but away to Stockport, promotion match I think, getting called a load of yuppies by Millers fans outside a pub near Hollingworth because we were in a mates BMW .If I remember correctly the kick off was delayed because of the amount of Millers fans arriving late?
Another promotion away game against Wigan at their new ground . A grand day out .

The Third replay against Brighton at Highbu....... sorry wrong thread

Burnley 2-6. We played like Real Madrid that day.

Whitby. Most people who love SkegVegas doesn’t know it exists.

For me Millwall 0-6 Millers and Byfield on the rampage. Chelsea 1-4 Millers in 81-82 up there too.

Hitting Donny for 6 at Belle Vue, with Williamson getting 4 was pretty special, even though it was only a league cup game, they seemed more important at the time. Main stand full of Millers and police throwing a Donny fan out for complaining about it “it’s OUR ground!” Lol.

Bradford away on a Tuesday night when we won 2-0 with Agard scoring into a empty net on the counter from their keeper coming up on last minute corner. Think it put us in the automatic places with just 2 games remaining was a massive result and just felt like we would go on and get promotion after that which we did.

Carlisle 81 great day . As for Whitby it's golf course is the most dangerous course I've ever played I don't know how they get away with it nowadays . So the best thing about Whitby is it's not far from some great courses

Strating to think the menu in Abbey Wharf is the only good thing about Whitby.

Best thing about Whitby is that everyone just does what they wants and doesn't listen to Big Bad Boris.

It's a town of anarchy
