Q1 How many excellent candidates were interviewed last week who were not already on the club's payrole.

Q2 What direction was Micky Mellon wanting to take the club which was deemed not to be the acceptable direction.

Q3 Will the Tam Courts have the power to make final decisions on what players are recruited or dismissed.

Having watched the interview on YouTube it seems that United have intentionally gone down the Rangers route here. I don’t blame them after the success of stevie g and also Calum Davidson’s debut season.
He has a funny accent but you guys will be used to that ;) All jokes aside, interesting decision and certainly wouldn’t rule United out of having a good season with him. If you can get shankland tied down and in my opinion he should stay put, bring in mulgrew and promote some youths which United has always done well. He says he likes to recruit and seems to have a vision for the club. Hope it works out.

I remember back in December when MM & SF weren't able to take the team at Livingstone cos of isolating. There was an announcement that Thomas Courts was going to take the team. I thought it was a mis-print, a mistake, a typo or something cos altho I'd heard of several of the football staff below the top I had never heard this name at all. He has taken advice on what to say due to the difficulties. Its a bit scripted and i think thats wise from the club. he was fidgeting and nervous but keen to get his message across. I think he will relax a bit and get rid of some soundbites and show his passion. I was impressed on first viewing. But it was fully scripted - and frankly had to be. Maybe its that TA?

I liked that part - prob one bit that wasnt fully scripted - he was as honest as he could be. At least he seems fully of confidence in himself too. so to understand the fans worries was a good point made by him.
