I have absolutely no reason to believe in either possibility.
This 'froth' of optimism is an error. The fundamentals of the club losing 10k a week and there being plenty of tasks to spend money on are reality.
PD (or the appropriate Purepay officer) has not sent a Letter Of Comfort to the 1921 auditors, so the £2.7+ million debt to Purepay is now officially categorised as "payable on demand". It is thought that such demand is imminent.
If PD wakes up in a morning having not had a good shag, then by the end of the day Carlisle United 1921 can be insolvent and cease to exist.
