Yes split championship again due to sky I’m guessing

Could do with some nil draws so they don’t run away on the points gap and GD

Stoke 19:45 Middlesbrough
Reading 20:00 Blackburn
Sheff Utd 20:00 Sunderland
West Brom 20:00 Cardiff

Put it this way, the EFL won’t penalise them.

Looking at what’s going on at the moment, expect to see quite a few of their fixtures reversed like they are having to do this Saturday against Huddersfield.

Huddersfield Town said it was too short notice Brin, unless they have now changed their minds.

Swansea City 2 - 2 Millwall last night.

Swansea 2-0 up after 12 minutes, then 2 Swansea players score own goals 90+3 & 90+5

Who will pay the costs? What about catering etc. With no notice.

It was simply being seen as a fixture swap so costs etc. would still level out over the 2 games. As far as catering I'm not sure, they moved their League Cup game to Burton last week with just 3 days notice so it looks like it is possible in some cases.

Huddersfield Town said they were not reversing the fixture, due to short notice, policing etc.
at the beginning of the week.

Watching the game from Bramhall Lane between two bang average sides. Rotherham would be more than a match for either of them. However, listening to the Sky commentary, you could be forgiven for thinking that you were watching Barcelona v Inter Milan. The hyperbole are astonishing considering the poor standard of football on display.

Reading leading Blackburn with effectively the same side that played against us. Currently 1-0.

Blades lead Sunderland 1-0 with Sunderland down to 10 men.

Now Blades 2 Sunderland 1.

Blades looked well in control but played tippy tippy across the back and a sublime lob from Gooch brings Sunderland back into the game.

Reading now 2 up v Blackburn. Agree with Glenn’s comments. Nothing to fear in this league.

Lucas Joao off the bench to put Reading out of sight after 78 mins.

I watched the game, thought it was a decent game with both sides having something to prove, United to show they are
promotion hopefuls, Sunderland a team who won't be steamrolled.
Sunderland showed their intention for a attacking game, with Stewart & loanee Simms spearheading the attack, with
Pritchard behind them.
The Blades had a player Ahmedhodzic a defender, but a attacking defender, he was all over the pitch, a player who
can turn a game upside down.
Sunderland had defender Neil sent off, last man in defence stopping McAtee with pulling the player back, I thought Neil
had been lucky in not getting 2 bookings before he was red carded for the pull back.
Up to the sending off I thought Pritchard was the powerhouse of Sunderland, for ever probing & trying to feed the front
two attackers.
But after the sending off Sunderland were on the back foot, with Blades defender Ahmedhodzic scoring a powerful
header, then laying on a second goal for Lowe.
At 2-0 we could have thought the Blades looked safe for the 3 points, but the Blades gave the ball away with some
sloppy passing, which allowed Gooch to score with a delightful chip, to bring Sunderland into the game.
The game at 2-1 in the Blades favour, against 10 man Sunderland, then a bad foul by Sunderland's Luke O'Nien on
Blades player McAtee in the 64th minute deserved a straight red card, McAtee lucky not to have received a broken leg.

MotM was the Blades defender Ahmedhodzic, a player who will be a handful in the championship.
Best outfield player for Sunderland was Pritchard, who should have not been subbed, with Sunderland keeper having
a good game.

Impressive Sunderland getting one back with a man down

We’re now 10th, 4 points behind leaders Blackburn but we have a game in hand
