2022 Qatar World Cup Panini Book stickers.

When I was younger I collected the football stickers, programmes from 1960, autograph books,
I even collected the Saturday Green'Un newspaper.

Been announced the Panini World cup 2022 stickers are on sale, but it will cost a hefty price to
collect all the 670 different stickers to fill the album, with experts predicting a cost of £883.80
to collect everyone.

2022 Qatar World Cup - 5 stickers for 90 pence

2018 Russia World Cup - 5 stickers for 80 pence

2016 Euro Championships - 5 stickers for 50 pence

Anyone thinking of collecting the stickers ?

I have a predecessor of the Panini era, the 1968/69 Wonderful World of Soccer Stars album and don't think I paid anywhere near that XD

Just noticed one on sale on ebay for $125 https://www.ebay.com/itm/403046669339

I remember back in those days being really chuffed as one of our players was in there. Jim Furnell was one of the Arsenal stickers as they obviously came out just before he joined us.

On the subject of stickers/trading cards, a single baseball card just sold here for $12.6M. I bet everyone thought the guy who bought it for $50K in 1991 was mad?

Remember Jim very well. For quite a while after he joined us he continued to feature in the introduction to Match of the Day.
