Just found out Christine McVie died yesterday. Watching her and the band on BBC 4 as I post. One of the best bands in my lifetime.

I could not believe she was 79. OMG time and tide and all of that. :(

Not my musical genre but she could certainly belt out a tune.

R.I.P. Christine.

I agree Chris. It is news like that that makes me realise that I am getting older. Each year we lose a few. Inevitable, but still sad and a reality check.

Sad news, but I suppose in her line of work she'd had a good innings, I always preferred Stevie Nicks, one of the s-e-xiest voices I've heard.

Another sad passing was Wilko Johnson last week, he was in a documentary a few years ago, he had cancer and refused any treatment for it, then he said he got up one morning and it was gone, no explanation, it just wasn't there any more. Obviously it came back. I absolutely loved to watch him strutting back and forth on the stage with Dr Feelgood.

I was lucky enough to see them in Zurich in 2013. Stevie Nicks is not just a ***y voice - even at 65!
