It's a tough one for anyone who's watched us since the world cup farce to see a win for the Millers today. But this is a football match in a very unpredictable league so anything is possible.

I'm going to watch this game with hope of a win and sit and watch it until the end.

Looking at that bench it's easy to see why people called the previous manager negative with his approach to games. We are overloaded with defensive minded players.
We should have brought in at least one more forward in the summer. Warne made the decision that Ogbene was one of his 4 forwards and the current manager is now having to deal with what he's left behind. He will probably pay the price and lose his job when the fans turn on him. TS has to back him and not hang him out to dry.

Last 10 minutes we played better but if it wasn’t for our amazing keeper it would have been 4 by that time. Do our coaches and management do any homework on the teams they are playing. Two big strong CBs for Millwall and we hit it long down the middle?? Also at the other end they have won most set piece headers why don’t we put our biggest player diff in on their number 5 for those set pieces. Humphrey’s has been awful, so many threats down his side and lost Bradshaw for the goal. Playing Lindsay as a number ten makes no sense, surely rate one is better suited and play him and Washington in a split front two when we are attacking, that takes the two CBs out of their comfort zone. Is JJ injured? Why hasn’t he been called back, high went back before the 1st jan so surely we should have had JJ if fit back in the squad to at least give us an option. Washingtons miss is what we expect from him, been said multiple times, he works hard but his shots to shots on target ratio is very low and that miss was pathetic, it was a side foot roll in to an empty net, at the far side of the goal. We aren’t out of it yet and we could nick a goal and scrape a draw but more likely to concede another couple. They don’t look like the same players as they did before the WC

I think it’s time players take a bit of responsibility for the long balls they can see it’s not working,they are professional footballers when all Said & done.

Under Warne we had a style and identity. We pressed high and got it forward to the wing backs very quickly.
Barlaser’s main job was to ping it wide.
Under Taylor I’m still trying to work out our style. It seems to involve backing off a lot.

This team is an absolute shambles. I have no idea what's going on behind the scenes but Taylor is rapidly becoming the new Stubbs. He will not allow these players to play a style and system they're used to and his chickens are coming home to roost.
His stubbornness will cost him his job.

Humphrey’s again out of position went the wrong way followed wood to the shooter, if he stayed in the middle he would have got there before Bradshaw. Ipswich have a FA cup bye next week, we look as bad as we did the season warne took over, no belief, no desire it is like the players have decided not to play for Taylor, something must have happened during the WC break conceded 13 goals in 5 games ……at the moment.
