Off to the banks of 5he River Trent on loan, with an option to buy later on. When he left us, I think we all knew that it wasn’t going to be a long term move, but more of a short term option on Tyneside. That’s the way it looks now,as Eddie clearly sees no future for him amongst the passionate Geordies. Maybe he will join Steve Cooper and his relegation battlers before too long. Eddie bought him to stop us playing him, added £20 k to his weekly salary and paid us a fortune and everyone was happy, especially Chris and if he gets regular games at Forest he will be even more happy.
