The last surviving member of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Gary Rossington passes on. They were a great band but what a tragedy the plane crash was that killed several band members. Gary survived with serious injuries but recovered to play guitar again. Freebird was a great song, as was Sweet Home Alabama, which Rossington co-wrote…………

Absolutley devasating news, a great player and some great songs, I was luky enough to see them several times the last one a few years ago at the NEC, I was 8 rows from the front and god they were loud.
