Don't want to sound defeatist in our quest for automatic promotion but should we end up in the play off, I hope Notts are only going to give the away side the same allocation of tickets that we would have received had the opposition been at home.

I don’t think it’ll matter - none of the four teams we can play (B Wood, Barnet, Bromley, Eastleigh) will bring more than a few hundred.

If any team bought just "A few hundred" for a P/O semi final I would find that quite surprising?

Barnet might break 1000? Would be surprised if any of the others did.. half 12 on a Sunday isn’t exactly conducive to big numbers for anyone.

Wonder how many we’ll get. 10,000ish for last year’s game against Grimbo..

Looking at the average attn's, I'm quite shocked how poor some of them are. I still find it surprising that ANY Nat League club would bring less than a 1,000 for a P/O Semi Final. If you win, you're going to Wembley, FGS.

How do BW manage to be so competitive with such dismal support? I wonder how their budget compares to others in this league.

The rumour is that Arsenal help them out a bit ... I know Arsenal ladies play at Boreham Wood

I think Garrard is the type of manager to make a team greater than the sum of its parts as well.

Their keeper always looks good against us. Might be worth a look in the summer!

Think your post is actually realism , our quest for automatic was effectively ended when we failed to score the penelty at Wrexhsm. Guess a lot of supporters according to this message board are Dreamers

Notts know what they must do, win 2 play off matches and we are Promoted , simple as

My thoughts turn to playoff semi final against Middlesbrough, there manager said "we all know borough are the biggest well supported club, we can do it "

Don’t you have to offer the minimum of 10% capacity, so 2000 max, we did that against Grimsby. I think we’ll get at least 15k.

May be an idea for people who purchase tickets for semi get priority for final after season ticket holders (IF we get there), might help increase sales.

I was only a youngster so only went to the home , but even all these years later I still have memories of both the playoff semi final 2nd leg, and the league fixture.

They had a really good side with some top players which shows you just how good we were at the time.

In one of those fixtures there was a little rumble just round the corner from Iremonger Road as you headed to the traffic lights for London Road. Somethings you just never forget seeing.

Going into the Warnock playoff semifinals it was widely felt we were the best team in them, iirc Bolton finished something like 15 points behind us, that definitely influenced how they went.

Not really been in that position since, but we are now and winning two more shouldn’t be much of a problem after winning 30+ this season.

If we get to the final I doubt people would have a problem gettinh a ticket !

I went to Ayresome Park for the first leg, one of their fans tried to pull my mates uncle out our car through the window as he had it all the way down, I certainly didn’t forget that.

No need for priority sales for the Final, how many does Wembley hold 95000??

Well some people are always suckered by something that sounds good 😂 that said, IF we get there I bet we don’t actually get that many tickets.

Damn right we've never been back to the top 2 divisions for nearly 30 years , will I ever again ???

Yes the current team should breeze through the play offs, if we have the winning mentality and getting at them from the offset

The play-offs is where Warnock really came into his own. His motivational skills and the types of teams he built made him the man to back. In my betting days, I remember winning well on his Huddersfield play-off team.

As for these ones, I've been saying we'll get Boreham Wood for weeks and I'll stick with that. But I don't dread it as much.
They're excellent at mucking up our system - great spoilers. But I think I'd prefer to have to solve that than face Barnet. They can't stop us playing our game, but seem to have more dangerous attacking players who could really hurt us on their day. Six of one, half a dozen of the other.

I don't need to tell anybody that the semi will be a massive, massive game.

I've been generously putting our win probabilities at 70% semi, 60% final, so 42% play-off chance overall.

But winning the semi-final would be the first time this season that we'd have the odds in our favour. Chasing Wrexham has meant that we've never had a really strong probability of promotion. Massive, massive game and if we perform to our capabilities we should come out on top.
