The big day has arrived, as Luke Williams' high-flying Magpies welcome Luke Garrard's tough Boreham Wood side to Fortress Meadow Lane for a knockout, one-legged play off semi-final.

It may be hard to accept that this route to League Two is the only option after amassing a ridiculous 107 points over this remarkable season, but that's what we've been dealt. A professional but passionate performance should see us though...

Will Luke go with a 'keeper on the bench? Will the players rise to the occasion? Will the huge crowd be the 12th player this lunchtime? All will be revealed shortly.

Notts created very good chances and more will come, but BW generally look comfortable, strong and assured. I wouldn't say they don't deserve to be ahead, not by 2, but unlike Notts, they don't F about.

HT and as bad as anybody could have imagined... just simply not at the races so far, passing so slow and poor, finishing absolutely woeful and defending all over the place, it will take a miracle to save this but not with the team we have out unfortunately... Absolutely unbelievable. As others have said, we didnt play particularly well. We looked very leggy and nervous and our attacks were quite predictable at times. Ruben and Macca off form....but somehow, we scraped through!!! I just cant believe it!! Just shows that we have guts as well as playing nice football.

For me this is a brilliant matchday thread and absolutely typical of any messageboard of any club anywhere. It shows that we all want the same thing, we just express it in different ways. I enjoyed none of the game bar 2 minutes but if you could write a plot to put you through the wringer. 2-0 down against the best defence in the league.

The only time I've left early was when the fourth goal of a 0-4 home defeat against Bury (remember them) went in. As I remember it was chucking down with rain, I looked at my lad, he nodded back to me and we left. We didn't miss anything as it finished 4-0 to Bury.

Absolutely. By definition our % chance of winning the next game is less than today's and look how that went.
