Paul Matthew leaves, Alan Carlin steps up

Paul Matthew the groundsman who supervised the transformation of the Fir Park pitch is moving on. His second in command, Alan Carliin takes charge.

The work that Paul Matthew did on our pitch was very impressive, turning it from one with some bits that resembled a beach due the sand on it into a top quality playing surface. He will leave with the club’s thanks for his good work and the aim will be continuity of the good work with the promotion of Alan Carlin.
